Two weeks ago, Asus teased its upcoming handheld gaming console. What many took as an April Fools joke later turned out to be an actual console which the brand started sending out to promonent tech Youtubers (pre-production models) for their first impressions of the device.

Reports online had predicted that the new console will make its debut sometime in October this year, however, a new teaser from Asus suggests that the console could launch alot sooner than October.

Asus

Asus has announced that its upcoming gaming handheld, the ROG Ally, will soon be available globally. However, the company seems to be giving priority to a North American launch, with Best Buy potentially serving as an exclusive retailer. The Phawx, a reliable source for handheld gaming news, has reported that ASUS is targeting a launch price of around US$650-US$700 for the ROG Ally, which is lower than the previous speculation of up to US$800. This means that the device will be priced competitively with the highest-spec Steam Deck model.
