Asus has launched its latest laptop series in India, the Zenbook DUO (2024). This flagship laptop boasts a dual-screen OLED display design, aiming to redefine productivity and creativity for professionals and multitaskers.

The Zenbook DUO features two 14-inch FHD+ OLED touchscreens, offering a vast digital canvas for seamless multitasking. The detachable backlit keyboard with Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in kickstand provides flexibility in usage modes, from clamshell to desktop to extended display.

The OLED panels deliver exceptional visuals with vivid colors, deep blacks, and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. With Pantone validation, Dolby Vision HDR, and a peak brightness of 500 nits, the display caters to professionals working with visuals. The laptop weighs approximately 1.35 kg without the keyboard and adheres to MIL-STD 810H military standards. Screen protection is provided by Corning Gorilla Glass, while eye comfort is guaranteed by the TUV Rheinland-certified SGS Eye Care Display technology.

At the core of the Zenbook DUO’s performance are Intel Core processors, with options from the Ultra 5 up to the Ultra 9 series. These are complemented by Intel Arc graphics, Intel AI Boost NPU and up to 32GB 7467MHz LPDDR5X RAM and storage options up to 2TB NVMe SSD, ensuring quick and efficient performance.

Connectivity is robust, featuring two Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-A) port, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The audio setup includes Harman-Kardon certified speakers and Dolby Atmos support, further enhanced by Asus’s AiSense noise-canceling technology, which provides clear call quality.

The Zenbook DUO also comes equipped with a 65W GaN power adapter, supports USB-PD fast charging, and has a battery designed to support extended use. Additionally, the laptop is bundled with a 3-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription and Microsoft Office 2021.

Pricing and Availability

The Zenbook DUO is offered in four variants, differentiated by their Intel Core processors and storage. The entry-level model features the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor and is priced at Rs. 1,59,990. A step up includes the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, available at Rs. 1,99,990. For higher performance needs, there is a variant with the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor available for Rs. 2,19,990. The top-tier model also utilizes the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor but comes at a price of Rs. 2,39,990, offering the most advanced features of the series.
