Asus has unveiled its latest ProArt displays designed for creative professionals, including the ProArt Display PA32KCX and the ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM. The new monitors showcase high-end features tailored to film, photography, and design industries.
ProArt Display PA32KCX: Groundbreaking 8K Mini LED Monitor
The ProArt Display PA32KCX is the world’s first 8K Mini LED professional monitor. The 32-inch display offers full 8K resolution at 7680 x 4320 pixels and covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color space. The monitor’s Mini LED backlight achieves a peak brightness of 1200 nits.
A built-in motorized flip colorimeter enables automatic calibration without extra hardware, ensuring the monitor maintains professional-level accuracy over time.
ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM: High-Performance QD-OLED Display
The ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM features Samsung’s latest 32-inch 4K QD-OLED panel. It offers 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and peak brightness of 1000 nits. The display provides true, inky blacks and true 10-bit color depth, offering creators high-quality visuals.
The monitor supports HDR formats, including HDR10 and HLG, and works seamlessly with professional calibration software such as Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS.
Connectivity and Workflow Integration
Both displays provide ample connectivity options, including dual Thunderbolt 4 ports capable of charging laptops with up to 96 watts, as well as HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 ports. The monitors also incorporate anti-glare and low-reflection technologies for comfortable and efficient use.
Pricing and Availability
Asus has yet to release specific pricing and availability details for the ProArt PA32KCX and PA32UCDM displays. For reference, the current ProArt 4K panel monitor is priced around $3000. We can expect the new models to cost more.
