Asus has just unveiled the ROG Iceblade X high-performance gaming rig for the Chinese market, featuring Intel’s 14th Gen CPUs and the RTX 4070 Super, which is arguably one of the best price-to-performance GPUs that have launched in a while.

While the PC features high-powered components, its biggest selling point is its size. The ROG Iceblade X is pretty compact, measuring just 11.5 X 32.3 X 28.69cm, with a volume of 10L, making it ideal for gamers who don’t have the space for a full or a mid-tower PC.

It has an all-metal build with a clean design that comes with two RGB strips in the front. white air vents are on the top and back. The front I/O is also placed on the top. The PC is offered in two configurations, with the lower-tier model featuring an Intel i7-14700KF processor, paired with an RTX 4070 Super. While the higher-tier model comes with an i9-14900KF paired with the same GPU. Both of these variants are pre-installed with 32GB of SO-DIMM DDR5 RAM and 1TB SSD.

It features a B760 chipset motherboard paired with a 600W Gold-certified power. The cooling solution includes a water cooler for the CPU. As for the I/O, the front is equipped with 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, along with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The back of the PC includes three Display 1.4a ports, a regular HDMI along with an HDMI 2.1 port, 2 x USB-A 2.0 ports, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, and an RJ45 network port. It is worth mentioning that the motherboard also has WiFi 6E, and two mounts for external antennas.

The ROG Iceblade X gaming rig is priced as follows:

  • i7-14700KF+RTX 4070Super+32G+1T: 13,999 yuan ($1,935)
  • i9-14900KF+RTX 4070Super+32G+1T: 15,999 yuan ($2,211)

It is currently available to pre-order via Jingdong in China. We can expect this machine to hit global markets in the future under the ROG Strix G series.
