Philips has launched a new soundbar in India. It is the Philips TAB8967. To recall, the brand had launched the TAB8947 and TAB7807 in last December. The latest offering packs premium specifications and features. It is said to deliver a true surround sound experience with realistic and immersive sound flows. The Philips TAB8967 has a sleek, metallic design. It comes with a soundbar that is wall-mountable, a wireless subwoofer, and a remote control. The audio device’s sound system comprises three front-firing, two rear, and two up-firing speakers. There is also an 8-inch subwoofer. The device is capable of producing 780W dynamic sound output. The soundbar is integrated with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus. This enables a 360-degree surround sound effect enhancing the overall viewing experience.
Users can stream hi-res playlist content using Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2, or Bluetooth. The Philips TAB8967 supports 4K video pass-through, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG video formats without the loss of resolution. There are several equalizer modes including music, movie, voice, stadium, and custom.
Connectivity options on the Philips TAB8967 include HDMI In and Out ports, optical input, AUX in, dual-band WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0.
The Philips TAB8967 soundbar carries a price tag of Rs. 44,990. It will be available for purchase at all leading online and offline stores across the country starting today.
