The brand also launched a bunch of other devices at this event like the latest generation of its popular tablet line called the Xiaomi Pad 6 series (mi Pad 6 series). The Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro both went live for pre-order shortly after the launch. Now, it appears that the Pro model has set a new pre-sale record.

The news comes from the Chinese publication Fast Technology News (via) claiming that the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro has broken pre-sales record on both JD (Jingdong) and Tmall, two of the major e-commerce platforms in China. It is predicted that the tablet will go on to make new pre-sale records in the coming days. The outburst of these pre-orders could be credited to the impressive spec sheet and the mind-blowing price-to-performance ratio of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro starts at 2499 yuan ($363) for the base model, however, its top configuration is up for pre-order at 3399 yuan ($494). Other than that, the Pad 6 Pro also comes in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. With these prices and configurations, it is easy to see why the tablet might be enticing for many. Xiaomi has recently launched the Pad 6 Pro, which is one of the latest tablets to hit the market.
