Honor has unveiled the Honor X50i smartphone in China. It is the successor to the Dimensity 700-powered Honor X40i, which was announced in July 2022. The X50i features the latest Dimensity 6000-series chipset, a 90Hz display, up to 256 GB of storage, and 100-megapixel dual rear cameras. The Honor X50i features a 6.73-inch IPS LCD panel with a centrally positioned punch-hole. The display will support a Full HD+ resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a 93.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security.

The X50i is powered by the Dimensity 6020 chipset. It comes with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 7 GB of virtual RAM, and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 35W fast charging.

For photography enthusiasts, the Honor X50i will feature an 8-megapixel camera on the front and a 100-megapixel (primary) + 2-megapixel (depth) dual-camera system along with a triple LED flash on the back. The smartphone comes preloaded with Android 13 OS and the latest Magic UI 6.1. Lastly, the device measures 7.48mm in thickness and weighs 179 grams.

Honor X50i price and availability

The Honor X50i comes in two configurations, such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These variants are priced at 1,499 Yuan (~$217) and 1,699 Yuan (~$247). It comes in four colors, such as black, green, white, and pink. There is no word on the global release of the device.
