Vivo has been expanding its lineup of affordable smartphones with the release of the latest Vivo Y78+. According to a recent report, the company is now gearing up to launch another Y-series device in India called the Vivo Y36 4G. The report states the Vivo Y36 4G will be launched in India with a price range of Rs 18,000 to Rs 20,000. This price category is already crowded with smartphones that offer great value for money, with the iQOO Z7 (review) being just one example.

The Vivo Y36 4G is anticipated to boast a large 6.8-inch LCD display, but it is yet to be confirmed if it will feature a high refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and offers 8GB of RAM. What’s interesting is that the phone is rumored to come with an additional 8GB of expandable RAM.
