AOC AGON Pro AG276QZD specs & features
AOC has recently revealed the specifications and features of their upcoming gaming monitor, the AGON Pro AG276QZD. This monitor boasts a 26.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It also delivers an impressive peak brightness of 1,000 nits, which should ensure a high-quality viewing experience.
While the monitor can output at a high brightness level, it may be limited to 150 nits in SDR mode due to its reliance on an LG Display panel. However, AOC has built the AGON Pro AG276QZD with an external power supply, which should help to dissipate excess heat from the panel and improve its lifespan.
The monitor’s 0.03 ms response time is aided by both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC support. Additionally, AOC claims that the monitor provides 98.5% DCI-P3 color space coverage and a 240 Hz native refresh rate, which should result in a smooth and vibrant gaming experience.
However, the AGON Pro AG276QZD’s port selection is limited to HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4, which may limit the refresh rate to 144 Hz at 1440p over HDMI. To achieve 240 Hz gaming at 1440p, DisplayPort 1.4 connections are required. The monitor also features two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a USB Type-B upstream connection.
