Bang & Olufsen has launched the Beosound A5 portable speaker in China. The new speaker concept is the culmination of the collaboration between B&O and GamFratesi. The portable Beosound A5 is available in Nordic Edition and Dark Oak Version.

The Nordic Edition of the model comes with a silver aluminum trim with brown fabric. On the other hand, the Dark Oak Edition comes in a black aluminum trim plus a dark coffee fabric.

The Beosound A5 portable speaker has a four-driver bi-directional setup and features the latest acoustic technologies. It is a compact speaker but quite powerful. It is equipped with RoomSense technology which adjusts the music playback to suit the room settings. This delivers the best sound fidelity every time. The compact form factor of the Beosound A5 belies its power.

The official launch page of Bang & Olufsen’s Beosound A5 is already active on the company’s website. It provides comprehensive details about the new portable speakers. The Beosound A5 supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The speakers feature touch tuning and can be used both indoors and outdoors.

The dark oak edition is currently sold out on Amazon but the Nordic Edition has a retail price of $1,199. Both speakers have been listed on JD.com and their prices are 7,798 yuan ($1,128) and 8,598 yuan ($1,244) respectively.
