Honor is reportedly working on a new device in its X series, the Honor X50. According to leaked renders and specifications shared by a reliable tipster, the new phone will feature a circular camera system on the back, similar to the Honor X40, but will come with a notable change on the front panel: a flat screen instead of the curved-edge display found on the predecessor.

The phone runs on Android 12 with Magic UI 6.1 (upgradable to MagicOS 7) and features a 50MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP sensor, as well as an 8MP front-facing camera.

Other notable features of the Honor X40 include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Type C audio, and Honor Histen 7.0 sound effect. It supports 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB 2.0. The phone has a 5100mAh battery with 40W fast charging. In terms of dimensions, the Honor X40 measures 162.9 × 74.5 × 7.43mm and weighs 175g.

While there’s no official word on when the Honor X50 will be released, rumors suggest it could be launched within the next few months.
