When it comes to purchasing a smartphone, specifications and features take the forefront of our minds. However, in the background, we also consider the need for repairs and replacements in case of hardware issues. After-sales support plays an important role and it seems Lava is taking that seriously with its newest Agni 2. The company has promised free in-home replacement of the handset in case of any hardware issues. Here are the details.

Lava Agni 2 After Sales Support

Lava has announced that its latest smartphone, the Agni 2, will come with extensive after-sales support. The company has said that customers will be able to get their phones replaced at home for free if they experience any hardware issues within one year of the warranty period. This means that customers will not have to take their phones to a repair shop and can instead have them replaced by a technician who comes to their homes.

While most major smartphone brands offer replacements for their devices in case of hardware issues, Lava is claiming to be the first in its segment to offer in-home replacements. The company also claims to provide a dedicated service manager.

To remind you, the Agni 2 features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset gets the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset under the hood. There’s a 50MP main camera with a 1.0µm pixel size sensor, an 8MP ultrawide module, and a pair of 2MP sensors.

The Agni 2 runs Android 13 with the Agni Shapath interface on top. Lava is promising at least two Android version updates along with quarterly security updates for three years. It is fueled by a 4,700mAh battery with 66W wired charging. More details here.
