The Lva Agni 2 5G finally went official in India after weeks of leaks and official teasers. It is the successor of the Agni 5G from November 2021, which was the brand’s first 5G smartphone.

The latest model brings upgrades in all departments. One may not identify it as a successor as it does not look like one with a much more premium design.

Let’s check out everything this latest phone from the Indian brand Lava has to offer.

Lava Agni 2 5G

Lava Agni 2 5G Specifications

The Lava Agni 2 5G features a glass sandwich body supported by a plastic frame. It also sports a curved display. Currently, it is the only handset in its price segment with this type of build materials and display.

The panel not only supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate but also has a fingerprint sensor underneath it. The display has a whopping 93.65% screen-to-body ratio, thanks to a 2.37mm bottom bezel and curved sides.

Under the hood, the phone houses a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. This chipset is supported by a vapor chamber cooling system to manage thermals.

Further, the handset comes with a quad-camera setup on the rear headed by a 50MP primary sensor with a pixel size of 1µm. The other cameras include an 8MP ultra-wide unit, a 2MP macro snapper, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP selfie camera. On the software front, it boots Android 13. Last but not least, the device is backed by a 4,700mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging support. The required charger is included in the box.
