Xiaomi‘s ecological chain partner Fengmi has unveiled the R1c Nano ultra short throw projector in China. The new Fengmi projector has a ratio of 0.23:1 with a maximum brightness of 1,050 ANSI lumens. The projector is a more affordable projector than the R1c.

Fengmi R1C Nano Projector

The Fengmi R1c Nano projector has an ALPD laser light source that delivers a maximum brightness of 1,050 ANSI Lumens. On the other hand, the more expensive R1c projector has a maximum brightness of 1,400 ANSI lumens. The new affordable Fengmi projector has a contrast ratio of 2,000:1 and the company says the shorter throw ratio of the projector enables the projection of images to the desk when mounted vertically.

The Fengmi Rc1 Nano has Eskute new Star folding e-bike with 120+km range and off-road capability unveiled native resolution of 1080 pixels with support for 4K decoding. On the sound segment, the projector has a pair of 5W speakers and is compatible with Dolby Audio and DTS HD.

Fengmi R1C Nano Projector

The Fengmi R1c Nano runs on FengOS and the projector can be controlled using voice commands. It can also be integrated into the Xiaomi MIJIA Smart Home ecosystem. The projector could be an excellent gaming screen. It has an HDMI ARC and a response rate of 40ms which may not be too impressive for gaming fluidity.

There are also USB-A and USB-C ports in the Fengmi R1c Nano projector. The projector is available in online retail platforms across China at a launch price of 2,999 yuan (~$430). The original price of the projector is 3,499 yuan (~$501). There are no global availability details for the new Fengmi projector at this time.
