After a long while, smartphone launches are expected to slow down for a week. Only two brands have confirmed to release new handsets in the next few days.
These companies are iQOO and Oppo. Both of them will introduce new phones in their home country China.
iQOO has confirmed to debut new models under its Neo series. On the other hand, Oppo is set to take wraps off the next-gen Reno devices. These brands will also unveil other products alongside the handsets.
With that out of the way, let’s have a look at all the phones planned to launch in the coming days.
The iQOO Neo series is scheduled to launch in China on May 23 (Tuesday) at 7 PM GMT+8. The lineup will include iQOO Neo 8 and iQOO Neo 8 Pro powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus chipsets, respectively.
The devices are expected to come with a 144Hz OLED display, a Vivo V1 Plus chip for image processing, a 50MP primary camera, 120W fast-wired charging support, and more.
The handsets will be accompanied by iQOO’s first-ever tablet called iQOO Pad and iQOO TWS Air Pro
2. Oppo Reno 10 Series
The Oppo Reno 10 series is set to launch in China on May 24 at 2:30 GMT+8. The lineup will consist of Oppo Reno 10, Oppo Reno 10 Pro, and Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus. All three will feature a similar design.
The phones will sport a curved display and will come with a zoom camera. The Pro Plus, in particular, will arrive with a periscope camera and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC. Whereas, the pro and regular models will house Dimensity 8200 and Snapdragon 778G chips, respectively.
The smartphones will be accompanied by Oppo Enco R2 and a new color of Oppo Watch 3.
