Vivo came up with a new technology called particle ink for the rear design of the Vivo S17 series. They developed this technology through a research project in 2020. It works by using invisible magnetic force to arrange 15 million magnetic particles on the back panel of each phone, creating intricate patterns that create a unique play of light and shadow. The process involves three high-temperature baking stages, with each step carefully timed within 30 seconds to achieve the desired cascading effect of light and shadow. This gives the S17 series a visually impressive appearance.
