Certified by SGS, a renowned inspection, verification, testing, and certification company, the carbon footprint of Phone (2) measures an impressive 53.45kg, over 5kg lower than its predecessor, Phone (1). The final assembly plants responsible for manufacturing the device are powered by 100% renewable energy, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and minimizing carbon emissions throughout the production process. Also, to construct the phone’s mid-frame, 100% recycled aluminum, manufactured using 100% renewable energy, is utilized.
