The Redmi 12 is on the verge of its official launch, as recent reports indicate. Last week, the unannounced smartphone made an appearance on Xiaomi Portugal’s website, where its key specifications, pricing, and three color variants were revealed. Following this leak, Winfuture.de published a post showcasing the leaked official renders of the Redmi 12, offering a detailed look at its design.

The Redmi 12 official renders released by the publication reveal that it will be available in three colors, such as black, white, and blue. On the front, the device can sport a punch-hole display, and on the back, it features a triple camera unit.

The camera arrangement on the rear of the Redmi 12 bears similarities to the camera arrangement found on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series. The right edge of the device has a volume rocker and a power button, which is integrated with a fingerprint sensor.

Redmi 12 specifications, price (rumored)

The report claims that the Redmi 12 is expected to debut in July with a price tag of around 199 euros. In terms of specifications, the Redmi 12 will arrive with a 6.8-inch LCD FHD+ 90Hz display, an Helio G88 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. It will have an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro/depth) triple camera unit. It will come with other features, such as dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, an IR blaster, a microSD card slot, NFC, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
