Lenovo‘s Xiaoxin series offers powerful laptops that combine impressive hardware with sleek designs. A standout example is the Xiaoxin Pro 16 2022, which was introduced in October of last year. This laptop features a Core i9 processor, a 2.5k display, and a high-speed PCIe 4.0 SSD. In an effort to make the device more affordable for consumers, Lenovo has decided to reduce its price by almost 900 yuan ($126) in China.

The older Xiaoxin Pro 16 2022 is still a great option

Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 16 2023 Core i9 version was introduced with starting price of 6299 Yuan, which is around $884. However, the company has now slashed the price of the laptop by 900 Yuan, making it available for 5399 Yuan ($758) in China. Although Lenovo has already launched the 2023 refresh of the machine, it’s still a great value at this price.

To remind you, the notebook comes with a LED-backlit LCD 16-inch display with a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has a 350 nits peak brightness level, offers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, and is DC dimming certified by TÜV Rheinland. The Core i9 processor of the device can offer up to 60W performance release.

It features a backlit keyboard with a 1.3mm key travel and a dedicated Numpad. Talking about the connectivity options, the laptop gets 1 x Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type-C), 1 X USB Type-C, 2 x USB Type-A, HDMI 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a card reader. The notebook is equipped with 512GB PCIe 4.0 high-speed SSD, and 16GB dual-channel LPDDR5 high-frequency memory. There’s a 75Wh battery with a standard 100W PD adapter.

The machine runs Microsoft Windows 11 on the software front. It also sports a 1080p webcam and Dolby Atmos-powered stereo speakers.
