Around a month ago, MSI unveiled the G253PF IPS gaming monitor with a mind-blowing 380 Hz refresh rate. The brand has now showcased a curved 27-inch gaming monitor called the MAG 275CQRF-QD.

The MAG 275CQRF-QD features a curved 27-inch Rapid VA panel. Specifically, the display has a 1000R curvature, providing an immersive viewing experience. With a native resolution of 1440p (WQHD) and a 16:9 aspect ratio, it offers sharp and clear visuals. The peak brightness of 300 nits enhances the overall image quality. The MAG 275CQRF-QD utilizes VA panel technology, which allows for a contrast ratio of 4,000:1, delivering deep blacks and vibrant colors.
In terms of performance, this gaming monitor boasts a fast 1 ms GtG response time, ensuring smooth and responsive gameplay. It is also FreeSync Premium compatible, reducing image tearing when playing games at high frame rates. MSI claims that the monitor can be overclocked from the base refresh rate of 144 Hz to a maximum of 170 Hz, providing a smoother gaming experience.
In regards to connectivity, the MAG 275CQRF-QD offers various ports, including a 3.5 mm jack, two HDMI 2.0b ports for 1440p/144 Hz gameplay, a DisplayPort 1.2a for 1440p/170 Hz gameplay, a USB 2.0 Type-A port, a USB 2.0 Type-B port, and a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB PD 15 W charging support. Additionally, MSI has included a KVM switch, simplifying the process of connecting peripherals when switching between devices.
