Priced just above the Redmi A series, the Redmi 12C is a budget smartphone with all the features you need. The handset was unveiled in India earlier this year in April with a price tag of under Rs. 10,000. It boasts a large HD+ display and a massive 5,000mAh battery. The good news is that Redmi is offering a sweet discount of up to Rs. 1000 on the Redmi 12C, making it an even more affordable option for those who don’t want to spend a fortune. Here’s how you can avail the discount.
Redmi 12C becomes more affordable
The Redmi 12C debuted in India with a starting price of Rs. 8,999. However, recently Xiaomi humbled the consumers with Rs. 200 discount, making it available for Rs 8,799. If this wasn’t enough (we know it wasn’t), the company has now announced a Rs. 800 price cut for a limited time through special offers. Do note that the offer is applicable only on the base 4GB model.
To avail of this discount, you’ll need to purchase the device on EMI through Amazon using an ICICI credit card, HDFC credit card, or HDFC debit card. This will bring the effective price of the device down to Rs. 7,999. Amazon has mentioned June 15 as the last date for the credit/debit card offer, with no specific date mentioned for the UPI offer.
As a reminder, the Redmi 12C features the Helio G85 chipset, accompanied by up to 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD panel that produces an HD+ resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels. The panel offers a 20.6:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits of brightness. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W.
