Xiaomi is reportedly working on two new foldable smartphones models that are hinted to launch sometime next year. Out of the two phones, one is rumored to be a part of its existing MIX Fold lineup, while the other will be its first clamshell folding phone and will be dubbed as the MIX Flip. So here are all the details.
Xiaomi MIX Flip & MIX Fold 4 might launch sometime next year
The news arrives from known tipster Digital Chat Station that shared the information on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). The tipster hints that the Chinese tech giant will launch its first ever Flip phone model sometime in 2024. Apart from this, the brand is apparently also planning on releasing the MIX Fold 4 model next year as well.
Although, there have been rumors of the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 also being in the works with a possible release set somewhere between July or August 2023 of this year. But in the latest leak, the tipster refers to the MIX Flip with the model number N17 and the N18 for the MIX Fold 4. He adds that both models will launch in 2024 and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.
While the exact chipset wasn’t revealed, Digital Chat Station claimed that it will be from the flagship grade Snapdragon 8 series that delivers top notch performance. Keep in mind that this is still just an unconfirmed report so take this information with a pinch of salt.
