Samsung may be nearing an announcement of the release of the Galaxy S23 FE. The Galaxy S23 FE has gotten its battery certification from Safety Korea. The battery model that was certified bears the model number EB-BS711ABY which aligns with the SM-S711 identifier for the Galaxy S23 FE earlier seen.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE’s battery cell is manufactured by Amperex although its capacity was not stated in the certification listing. If previous rumors are to be countenanced, then we expect a 4,500mAh battery for the smartphone with support for 25W charging. The power efficiency of the smartphone’s processor and the background applications are important variables in battery efficiency.

The Galaxy S23 is also rumored to be equipped with the Exynos 2200 chipset globally and 6/8GB RAM or 128/256GB storage configurations. The choice of Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset for the Galaxy S23 FE could raise concerns about performance and battery life. There have been several issues mentioned about the Exynos chipsets. The smartphone will likely feature a 50MP main camera and an overall decent camera setup.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 flagships will be unveiled in the last week of July. However, it is expected that the Galaxy S23 FE will be launched before the new Samsung foldable. It is therefore expected that Samsung will release the official details of the Galaxy S23 FE before the end of July 2023. Pricing information for the Galaxy S23 FE will be provided as its launch draws nearer.
