Vivo has recently launched half a dozen new phones in the Y series, but they are yet to make their way to the Indian market. However, one phone that did make it to India is the Vivo Y35. It comes equipped with a Snapdragon 695 processor, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a large 5,000mAh battery. It debuted in the sub Rs. 20,000 category, but has now received a sweet Rs. 1,500 price cut in India. Here’s what you need to know.

Vivo Y35 is a balanced budget smartphone

Vivo Y35 was launched in India in August last year with a price of Rs. 18,499 for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The budget smartphone is now available with a discount of Rs. 1,500 on Vivo’s online store. Interested readers can purchase the device for Rs. 16,999. Talking about the specifications, the Vivo Y35 gets a 6.58-inch LCD display with a 1,080×2,408 pixels resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC, the device packs 8GB of RAM. There’s also a RAM expansion feature that lets you expand your RAM up to 16GB The device gets 128GB of onboard storage.

In the camera department, the Vivo Y35 flaunts a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP depth shooter, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, you get a 16MP shooter at the front. The Vivo Y35 also features a fingerprint sensor. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 44W charging. It measures 76.1mm in width, 8.28mm in thickness, and 164.3mm in height.
