Vivo has recently launched half a dozen new phones in the Y series, but they are yet to make their way to the Indian market. However, one phone that did make it to India is the Vivo Y35. It comes equipped with a Snapdragon 695 processor, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a large 5,000mAh battery. It debuted in the sub Rs. 20,000 category, but has now received a sweet Rs. 1,500 price cut in India. Here’s what you need to know.
Vivo Y35 is a balanced budget smartphone
Vivo Y35 was launched in India in August last year with a price of Rs. 18,499 for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The budget smartphone is now available with a discount of Rs. 1,500 on Vivo’s online store. Interested readers can purchase the device for Rs. 16,999. You can also avail of an instant bank discount of Rs. 500 on ICICI or HDFC credit card transactions.
Talking about the specifications, the Vivo Y35 gets a 6.58-inch LCD display with a 1,080×2,408 pixels resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC, the device packs 8GB of RAM. There’s also a RAM expansion feature that lets you expand your RAM up to 16GB The device gets 128GB of onboard storage.
In the camera department, the Vivo Y35 flaunts a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP depth shooter, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, you get a 16MP shooter at the front. The Vivo Y35 also features a fingerprint sensor. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 44W charging. It measures 76.1mm in width, 8.28mm in thickness, and 164.3mm in height.
