Nothing is gearing up to launch the Nothing Phone (2) in July, ahead of the launch, the brand has confirmed some details about the device. The design of the Phone (2) also leaked online recently, however, Nothing Founder and CEO Carl Pei went out of his way and said that the renders are fake, however, leaked TPU cases say otherwise.

The leak has emerged on /LEAKS revealing the various cutouts for speaker vents, Type C port, and microphone. Another two cutouts can be seen on the rear side for the flash and camera module. The cutout all aligns with the previously leaked renders.

One noteworthy feature that has come to light is the reinforced corners, which offer protection against accidental damage from falls. Although Nothing has officially announced this feature, it is speculated that the Phone (2) may come with a protective cover that not only safeguards the device but also showcases Nothing’s iconic design.

Confirmed details reveal that the Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, ensuring powerful performance. Geekbench sightings have hinted at 12 GB of RAM and the device operating on the latest Android 13.

To deliver a productive and minimalist user interface, the phone will introduce Nothing OS 2.0, which will overlay the Android operating system. Nothing has committed to providing three major Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates, ensuring long-term software support.

The Nothing Phone (2) will come with a 4,700mAh battery, providing ample power for extended usage. However, details regarding its fast charging capabilities are yet to be disclosed. While specifics about the camera setup remain undisclosed, the device is known to feature sustainable materials and an aluminum frame, combining durability and eco-conscious design.
