The leaked render reveals that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 shares a striking resemblance to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, with some minor alterations. Notably, the Z Fold 5 features slimmer bezels surrounding its foldable screen, providing users with a more expansive display area.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 introduces a change in the placement of its LED flash. Unlike the Galaxy Z Fold 4, where the LED flash is positioned below the triple camera unit, the Z Fold 5 has it located on the right side of the topmost camera.

Additionally, the microphone, USB-C port, and speaker arrangements remain largely unchanged compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 4. According to previous reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to measure 154.9 x 129.9 x 6.3mm in the unfolded state, slightly different from the dimensions of the Z Fold 4 which are 155.1 x 130.1 x 6.3mm. The leaked image also provides a glimpse of the S Pen that will accompany the Z Fold 5.

According to reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will have a 7.6-inch QHD+ foldable AMOLED screen and a 6.5-inch FHD+ cover AMOLED display. Both screens will support a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip, 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 4,400mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

The Z Fold 5 will have a 12-megapixel front camera, a 4-megapixel under-display camera, and a 50-megapixel (main) + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 10-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit. The device will run on Oen UI 5.1.1-based Android 13.
