In a recent announcement on its official Weibo account, Fangbao, a new brand by BYD focusing on “personalization,” has unleashed a set of “official spy photos.” The images provide a glimpse into the world of their highly anticipated flagship model, the Fen Leopard, internally known as “SF.” Positioned as a hardcore off-road vehicle and touted as the Mercedes-Benz G-Class benchmark, this beast is ready to awaken the wild instinct within off-road enthusiasts.

The most significant alteration is the “mysterious number” printed on the vehicle, which has evolved from “2316” to “2318.” Previously, the company used the number “2316” to highlight the car’s main features, such as dual motors, three differential locks, a battery range exceeding 1000 kilometres, and six driving modes. These details sparked industry speculation, creating anticipation for the new model’s release in June.
However, the recent change from 6 to 8 in the mysterious number suggests that the release date may be pushed forward to August. While this shift may disappoint eager fans, it heightens the excitement surrounding the vehicle’s debut, promising additional surprises and features to look forward to.
