Back in September last year, the Honor Pad X8 made its debut in China featuring a 10.1-inch display and a Helio G80 chipset under the hood. The brand has now revealed the launch date and price of the tablet in India.
According to an Amazon Specials listing, the Honor Pad X8 will be available for purchase starting June 22, at 12 PM in India. The tablet will be priced at Rs 11,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration model. In addition to that, the tablet will come with a free Honor Flip Cover. Honor Pad X8 specs
The Honor Pad X8 features a 10.1-inch LCD panel that provides a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 224 PPI pixel density. The tablet measures 40.2 × 159 × 7.55mm, weighs 460g, and provides an 80.6% screen-to-body ratio. The display panel provides a multi-touch capability, supporting simultaneous input from up to 10 touches.
The tablet is equipped with a powerful Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, offering up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is unclear if this configuration will be made available in India. It also includes an SD card slot for expanding the memory. The tablet runs on Magic UI 4.0, which is based on Android 10. It is built with an aluminum body and incorporates 1620 dual large-amplitude speakers featuring a 2.2cc large sound cavity, along with support for Honor Histen sound effects. In terms of connectivity, the tablet supports Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac but does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The tablet is powered by a 5100mAh battery, which can be fully charged in approximately three hours.
