Rumors suggest that Vivo is in the process of developing the Vivo V29 series of smartphones. Recently, Vivo introduced the Vivo V29 Lite 5G smartphone in the European market, and now it is said that the Vivo V29 and V29 Pro models will be launched in the near future. In a new development, the Vivo V29 has received approval from the GCF authority, an essential certification for a global release. It strongly indicates that the V29 will make its debut in the upcoming weeks.

Vivo V29 specifications

The GCF certification confirms that the upcoming Vivo smartphone, with the model number V2250, will debut as the “Vivo V29.” Interestingly, the certification listing indicates that the device may not include “5G” in its name. The GCF listing reveals the network bands that will be supported by the device. As per the listing, the V29 will support 5G bands, such as n1, n2, n3, n5, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n77, and n78.

Apart from getting spotted in GCF, the V2250 Vivo phone has been previously seen at other certification platforms, such as IMDA (Singapore), EEC (Europe), SDPPI (Indonesia), and Bluetooth SIG. The handset also recently appeared in the database of Geekbench benchmarking platform.

According to the Vivo V29’s Geekbench listing, the Snapdragon 778G Plus will power it. The device is also expected to come with 8 GB of RAM and Android 13, which will be overlaid with FunTouchOS 13. The other specifications of the device are yet to be revealed.

Rumours are rife that the Vivo V29 series will be announced in July in India and other markets. As per a recent report, the V29 Pro is expected to come with key specifications, such as a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery, 66W charging, and a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS.
