Nokia has been actively working on new devices, and it appears that some of these devices will be available worldwide in the upcoming weeks. Among them is the Nokia G42 5G, which has recently been observed on both Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG websites. A recent online report has also surfaced, leaking press renders of this smartphone.

Based on the leaked press renders, the Nokia G42 5G will be available in two color options: Purple and Black. The smartphone will feature a curved frame on the sides and a rear panel housing three cameras along with a flash module. On the front, noticeable bezels, a water-drop notch, and a considerable chin can be observed.

The device is reportedly constructed with plastic material and is designed to be easily self-repairable. It is mentioned that the Nokia G42 5G will support QuickFix, enabling users to purchase precise instructions and spare parts directly from iFixit. This feature will allow users to replace components such as the screen, charging port, or battery.

The Suomimobiili report also reveals almost all of the key specifications of the smartphone. According to it, the Nokia G42 5G is getting a 6.56-inch LCD display panel with a resolution of 1612 x 700 pixels. The phone will also feature a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.

The resolution of the main camera is 50 megapixels and the other two are 2-megapixel macro and depth cameras. There is an 8-megapixel camera on the front. The Nokia G42 5G phone has 128 gigabytes of storage space and the Android 13 operating system. Lastly, the battery is said to be 5000mAh.

As per previous leaks, the phone is said to arrive with a Snapdragon 480+ 5G. The phone’s screen is also said to have a 90Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Leaks have revealed that the phone will get 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The report also mentions that the device will be priced at 1999 Danish kroner, which means that we can expect it to arrive at around €268.
