Sony has launched new Bravia televisions in India. The latest offerings are part of the brand’s Bravia X90L series. Earlier this month, the company had announced the X82L televisions. The Bravia X90L televisions pack flagship specifications and features. Read on to know more about it below. 

Sony Bravia X90L specifications and features

The Sony Bravia X90L series is offered in 55, 65, and 75-inch screen sizes. The televisions feature a minimalistic design with a bezel-less display. They feature X-Protection PRO technology that are dust and humidity resistant as well as safeguarded against lightning strikes and power surges. 

In terms of display, the Sony Bravia X90L televisions feature a Full Array LED panel along with technologies such as XR Contrast Pro Booster, XR Triluminos Pro and XR Clear Image for delivering a realistic viewing experience with deep blacks. The televisions offer a 4K resolution and support for HDR formats. There is also a 4K upscaling technology for enjoying content close to 4K quality. The XR Motion Clarity offers blur-free sports and fast-paced scenes. The Bravia X90L televisions are IMAX Enhanced certified that offer stunning visuals and immersive sound experience. 

On the audio front, the Sony Bravia X90L is equipped with an X-balanced speaker with Dolby Atmos. The televisions pack various sound-related technologies like XR Sound with 3D surround upscaling and Acoustic Audio Calibration technology. 

The Sony Bravia X90L comes with a Bravia Core app that provides access to a large library of Sony Picture’s movies that are available to stream in nearly 4K Blu-ray technology with Pure Stream. There is Bravia Cam that offers gesture controls, proximity alerts, and protected privacy. For an immersive gaming experience, the Bravia X90L features a variable refresh rate, auto-low latency mode (ALLM), auto HDR tone mapping, and game mode with PS5. Software-wise, the Sony Bravia X90L runs on Google TV OS and comes with access to apps and games. It supports Chromecast, AirPlay, and HomeKit. 

The Sony Bravia X90L starts at Rs 1,39,990 for the 55-inch variant whereas the 65-inch model costs Rs 1,79,990. The price of the 75-inch model has not been announced. The televisions will be available for purchase starting today from Sony centres, major electronics stores, and e-commerce portals across the country. Sony is offering a discount of Rs 24,000 on a combo purchase of Bravia XR TV range and PS5 gaming console.
