Redmi has launched several new phones recently, including the Redmi 12 in Thailand and the Note 12R in China. The company is soon expected to unveil the K60 Ultra in its home country with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor. In the midst of all this, a new Redmi smartphone has been spotted online on the IMDA website, hinting at a nearby launch.

A new Redmi mid-ranger coming to the global market?

Redmi may soon bring a new smartphone to the global market. While we don’t know the name yet, a device with model number 23076RN8DY has been spotted on the IMDA website by tipster Mukul Sharma. This phone is listed to support 5G connectivity and NFC. Other details of the smartphone, including its marketing name, are still anyone’s guess.

There’s no official launch date yet but the “2307” in the phone’s model number hints it will debut in July this year. We are yet to get an official confirmation of any sort.

Redmi Note 12R

As mentioned, Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil the Redmi K60 Ultra in China. The handset should launch in the coming days with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor. The smartphone is also rumored to boast a 1.5K narrow-frame AMOLED display supplied by TCL Huaxing. It should have a metal frame, a 50-megapixel primary rear camera lens, and a built-in 5000mAh battery.

Redmi also unveiled the Note 12R in China, which recently went on sale. It is one of the world’s first phones to be powered by the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The smartphone gets a 6.79-inch LCD panel with a Full HD+ screen resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and DC Dimming.
