The Sony MDR-MV1 headphones and C-80 uni-directional condenser microphone has been launched in India. The two new products were announced by Sony India and they come with some impressive features.

Sony C-80 uni-directional microphone

The Sony MDR-MV1 Reference Monitor Headphones are designed for professional sound engineers and music creators. The C-80 condenser microphone is also designed for professional as well as home use. It is suitable for recording vocals, vlogging, instruments, podcasting, and webcasting.

Sony MDR MV1 headphones

The MDR-MV1 offers precise sound object positioning with clear, hi-resolution audio and a wide frequency range. The headphones can perfectly capture localization and detailed sound changes. The MDR-MV1 headphones are well-suited for professional audio mixing and mastering jobs. Sporting a lightweight and comfortable design, the Sony MDR-MV1 has breathable earpads and can be used for extended periods. A high-quality replaceable 2.5m cable and stereo mini-jack adapter are part of the accessories that come with the headphones. The Sony MDR-MV1 headphones weigh about 233g.

Sony C-80 uni-directional microphone

The Sony C-80 Uni-directional microphone is designed for home studio use. It can be deployed for a range of recording applications and it retains the key features of the Sony C-800G and C-110 mics. The microphone however incorporates a noise elimination for clear sound reproduction with low noise. It has dual diaphragm architecture that helps maintain vocal stability while recording. It offers realistic instrument reproduction and suppresses boomy low frequencies and noise during recording nearby.

The Sony MDR-MV1 headphones are priced at Rs. 39,990 (~$487) while the C-80 microphone retails for Rs. 49,990 (~$609). The two products will be released on July 3 and will be available at selected Sony retail stores and other online retail platforms in the sub-continent.
