Honor X50 is set to launch in China on July 5 as the latest mid-ranger from the company. The smartphone features a familiar design, but it exudes a very premium look. Up until now, Honor has teased the X50 in orange, silver, and light blue color options. However, today the brand unveiled another shade for the device— black. This new color option sets the smartphone apart from the crowd. Let’s take a closer look at it.

According to a recent teaser on Weibo, the Honor X50 will also come in a new black color. The company calls it “Elegant Black Edition” but we’ll settle for black. As pictured in the poster, the Honor X50 in black looks quite premium and certainly better than most mid-rangers in the market. The circular ring on the back makes the device stand apart from the rest of the Android pack. The handset has a curved back with a sleek finish.
