The Lenovo ThinkVision P49w-30 monitor has gone on sale in Europe and Japan. The ThinkVision P49w-30 is equipped with a 49-inch IPS black panel with a display resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels. The new Lenovo monitor offers an expansive view with its 49-inch IPS panel with a 32:9 aspect ratio. The monitor has a 3800R curvature and a contrast ratio of 2000:1.
The new Lenovo ThinkVision monitor has a 160Hz refresh rate and offers a maximum brightness of 350 nits with 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The monitor is aesthetically appealing due to its curved design. It also packs a decent streak of features that makes it useful in several applications. It can be used as a s gaming monitor with its high refresh rate and vivid display. It can also be deployed for professional purposes by creative experts. The ThinkVision also provides an expansive display for projecting visual content, with its bevy of ports.
The monitor comes with a decent audio architecture that includes dual built-in 5W speakers. Interfaces in the monitor include HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4, Thunderbolt 4 outputs (100W and 27W), and USB-C with 15W power. The monitor also features a wired network port among others.
The ThinkVision P49w-30 monitor is priced in Japan at ¥275,000 (~$1,905). It is also set to be released in China subsequently. Lenovo has not released availability details for the new monitor in the global market.
