The Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G is all set to go official on July 7 in India. It will debut as India’s first phone featuring a 50-megapixel RGBW-Pro camera with sensor-shift OIS. It will be positioned above the Camon 20 Pro 5G, which recently debuted in the country with a price tag of Rs 21,999 (~$268). In a recent tweet, tipster Mukul Sharma shared the expected price of the Camon 20 Premier. Here is a look at what to expect from the next Camon 20-series phone.

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the Camon 20 Premier 5G is likely to launch in the sub-Rs 35,000 (~$426) segment in India. The specifications of the phone are no secret since the device was announced in May. Its landing page on Amazon states that the Camon 20 Premier 5G is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a centrally positioned punch-hole and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

The Camon 20 Premier 5G will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. The brand has confirmed that its retail package will include a 45W fast charger. For heat dissipation, the device will have the so-called Super VC Cooling technology.

It goes without saying that the Camon 20 Premier 5G lies in the camera department. The 50-megapixel RGBW-Pro camera with sensor-shift OIS can compensate for shakes up to 5,000 times per second, resulting in crisp photos and videos. The RGBW sensor can absorb more light for an enhanced photography experience in dim lighting conditions.

The main camera is coupled with a 108-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it features a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The Camon 20 Premier 5G will arrive as India’s first Dimensity 8050 chip. The device is expected to ship with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It will be sold in two shades: Dark Welkin and Serenity Blue.
