AYA NEO is gearing up to launch two new Windows-based handheld gaming consoles in the market called the AYA NEO Air 1S and the AYA NEO KUN. Both of these consoles will be powered by the cutting-edge AMD Ryzen 7000 APUs. That being said, the brand plans to launch a less powerful, Android-based console as well called the AYA NEO Pocket Air.

The AYA NEO Pocket Air, which was initially planned to launch in the second quarter of 2023, may face challenges in meeting that timeline as we enter the final month of Q2. Nevertheless, the brand has unveiled the specifications of the Pocket Air console to maintain enthusiasm among eager fans.

The AYA NEO Pocket Air will measure 224 x 89.5 x 17mm and weighs approximately 380g. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 CPU, the console aims to provide smooth performance and responsiveness. The device boasts a 5.5″ AMOLED screen, although the resolution has not been specified.

It comes equipped with a Master controller Android edition, including a hall-sensing joystick and hall trigger for precise control during gameplay. The inclusion of an X-axis linear motor enhances the gaming experience with vibration feedback.

For added convenience and security, the console integrates a power button with a fingerprint recognition module. Additionally, it incorporates the SoundTapMagic audio vibration system to deliver enhanced audio quality and immersion. The presence of dual microphones ensures optimized in-game communication and audio recording by facilitating pickup and noise reduction.

The console includes a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio connectivity. Its 7350mAh battery provides a substantial power capacity, enabling extended gaming sessions without interruptions. Running on Android 12, the AYA NEO Pocket Air offers a familiar and customizable interface.

AYAHome serves as the default Android launcher, while AYASpaceAPP acts as game management software. Pricing details are yet to be disclosed, however, the brand says that pre-orders will be live in July, and the consoles will start shipping in August.
