During their recent launch event, Nubia’s Red Magic introduced several new devices specifically designed for gaming enthusiasts. These include the Red Magic 8S Pro series smartphones, their inaugural gaming tablet, the Dao TWS earbuds, and an impressive 49-inch QD-OLED curved gaming monitor. Additionally, Nubia unveiled the Red Magic E-sports Keyboard (Nubia GK002J), a mechanical gaming keyboard tailored for e-sports.

The Red Magic E-sports Keyboard (Nubia GK002J) offers versatile connectivity options, supporting both wired and wireless usage. It utilizes 2.4GHz wireless or Bluetooth technology for wireless connections, ensuring seamless connectivity. When operating in 2.4GHz wireless mode, users can enjoy an exceptionally low latency of just 1ms and a 1000Hz return rate. The keyboard incorporates a 32-bit self-developed control chip that enhances connectivity, resulting in precise input and seamless RGB control. Speaking of RGB lighting, the keyboard boasts customizable 16.8 million color options, allowing users to personalize their lighting preferences.

The Red Magic E-sports Keyboard (Nubia GK002J) presents users with a choice between two switch options: Red and Black. The Red switches feature a 1.8mm pre-travel distance, a total travel distance of 4.0mm, and an operating force of 40 grams. On the other hand, the Black switches offer a pre-travel distance of 2.00mm, a total travel distance of 4.00mm, and an actuation force of 43 grams. The Red switches provide a linear feel, while the Black switches deliver a tactile experience. Both switch variants have an impressive lifespan of 80 million clicks and can be hot-swapped with all keys for added convenience.

The keycaps are made of PBT and claim to have “multiple noise reduction structures”. Lastly, the keyboard comes with a built-in 4000mAh battery that can last up to 200 hours on a single charge. The keyboard is available in multiple color options and has a starting price of 449 yuan.
