The Dell U3824DW UltraSharp WQHD+ Curved Monitor has been launched in China. The sleek monitor was released in North America (US and Canada) in May this year. It adopts the latest IPS panel technology with its 37.5-inch screen boasting a resolution of 3840 x 1600 pixels. The display equally comes with a refresh rate of 60Hz and a response time of 5ms removing gaming from its use cases.
The new Dell U3824DW UltraSharp WQHD+ Curved Monitor has a maximum brightness of 300 nits and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. The DCI-P3 color gamut of the model is 98% while the sRGB color gamut is 100%. The new curved display has a color accuracy of Delta E of less than 2 and built-in ComfortView Plus hardware for eye safety.
The IPS Black technology adopted for the Dell U3824DW display helps to significantly improve the contrast and deliver a more vivid output. The display can be used for a wide variety of applications including film, television, and content creation. The Dell U3824DW has two HDMI 2.1 interfaces, one DP 1.4 interface, and a USB-C connection that supports a 90W power supply. The screen also has an RJ-45 network port with 2.5Gbps capability.
There are five USB-A interfaces via the fish screen’s hub which offers 10Gbps and KVM functionality. There are dual 9W speakers and the display supports VESA hanging shelf.

The Dell U3824DW 37.5-inch fish screen is priced in China at 8,999 yuan (~$1,248). This is substantially cheaper than the US$1,529.99 price tag it adopted in the US. It is available on retail platforms like JD.com for direct purchase.
