Last week, Samsung started the offline sales of the Galaxy S21 5G’s new variant with the Snapdragon 888 onboard. Now, the smartphone is officially listed on Samsung India’s website for purchase. For those who don’t know, the South Korean tech giant announced the Galaxy S21 FE with the Exynos 2100 chip in January 2022. The new variant of the phone features a Qualcomm chip, namely the Snapdragon 888 chip.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 2023 Snapdragon 888 edition price in India
The Galaxy S21 FE 2023 comes in a single configuration, which offers 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage. As can be seen in the above screengrab, the device is listed with a price tag of Rs 49,999 (~$607) on Samsung India’s website.
It comes in multiple shades, such as Olive, Graphite, Lavender, White, and Navy Blue. Those who purchase the S21 FE via an HDFC Bank card will be able to benefit from a cashback of Rs 5,000. At present, it is unclear whether the device will be available for purchase via Amazon.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 2023 specifications
The Galaxy S21 FE’s Exynos 2100 and the new Snapdragon 888 variants pack the same specifications. It has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 12-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 8-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit.
The S21 FE has a 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging support. One should note that there is no charger included in the retail package. The device comes with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The official listing of the phone does not clearly mention the versions of Android and One UI available on the S21 FE 2023.
