Vivo has quietly launched a new Y-series smartphone. It is the Vivo Y27 5G. The device has been listed on the brand’s global website. It had bagged multiple certifications in recent months, hence an official launch was imminent. Read on to know what it offers out of the box. 

Vivo Y27 5G specifications and features

The Vivo Y27 5G features a 6.44-inch LCD display bearing a waterdrop notch. It offers an FHD+ resolution and 600 nits peak brightness. The power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. The back panel has a square camera module. 

On the imaging front, the Vivo Y27 5G has a dual rear camera setup of a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP secondary bokeh lens. The device features an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper. 

Under the hood, the Vivo Y27 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor. It is offered in 4GB and 6GB RAM options along with up to 6GB virtual RAM features. Both variants pack 128GB onboard storage. The smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 15W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs on a Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13.

Connectivity options on the Vivo Y27 5G include 5G, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm jack, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC. 

The Vivo Y27 5G is offered in Mystic Black and Satin Purple colors. The brand is yet to announce the pricing and availability of the smartphone.
