Recently, Lenovo confirmed the launch of a new gaming tablet in China on July 22. It will arrive as the successor to the last year’s Legion Y700 (review). The upcoming offering is expected to be called the Legion Y700 (2023). Now, key specifications of the device have surfaced ahead of launch. It is tipped to come with an upgraded hardware. Lenovo Legion Y700 (2023) key specs leaked

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some key specifications of the Lenovo Legion Y700 (2023) on the microblogging platform Weibo. He reveals that the upcoming offering will feature an 8.8-inch LCD screen bearing a display resolution of 1,600 x 2,560 pixels. It will come with an upgraded 144Hz refresh rate compared to its predecessor. The screen size makes it almost a phablet which is slightly bigger than most smartphones today. 

DCS says that the Legion Y700 (2023) will be backed by a 6,550mAh battery unit with support for 45W charging. It will have an 8MP front-facing and 13MP rear camera. Underneath the hood, the device is already confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It will pack up to 16GB RAM. The tipster mentions that the Lenovo Legion Y700 (2023) will feature an X-Axis linear motor, dual speakers, and a large ara for VC cooling.
