Redmi will be launching the Redmi 12 smartphone on August 1 in India. The brand has already teased the shiny Moonstone Silver color option for the device. Now, the Jade Black color variant of the device has also been revealed by the brand.
Like the Moonstone Silver, the Jade black color variant will also likely arrive with a Crystal Glass finish giving this budget range device a premium look. As the device is already available in the global market, we already know about its specifications and features.
Redmi 12 specs
The Redmi 12 is equipped with a tall 6.79-inch IPS LCD display featuring Full HD+ resolution, a peak brightness of 550 nits, and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Its power button integrates a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The device runs on a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and offers up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Noteworthy features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IP53 rating for water and dust resistance, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
The Redmi 12 stands out with its rear triple camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel lens. It also includes an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. Running on MIUI 14, based on Android 13, the device provides a user-friendly interface and overall experience.
