Last week, ZTE‘s sub-brand Nubia confirmed that its next flagship smartphone called the Nubia Z50S Pro will be launching on July 20 in China. The device has already made appearances on Geekbench and 3C certification revealing key features like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 80W fast charging. Now, the brand has officially revealed images of the smartphone along with some other key specifications.

The images of the Nubia Z50S Pro showcase a boxy design with a double-textured rear panel. It has a leather pattern finish layered with AG glass for protection. The back of the phone prominently displays a circular camera module housing three camera lenses. Interestingly, the inscriptions on the camera island mention a 35mm lens. On the side of the device, there are three buttons positioned on the right side: a power button, a volume rocker, and what seems to be a dedicated button specifically for the camera shutter. These design elements strongly suggest that the Nubia Z50S Pro will offer a camera-centric experience.

Moving on, the brand has confirmed that the device will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K super-retina-level eye-protecting display with 1200nits peak brightness and 452 ppi pixel density. The display will have a small punch hole in the top center and slim bezels giving the device an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 93.89%. The display will also have 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, Global DC dimming, AI intelligent brightness adjustment, and more. The display will have a peak touch sampling rate of 1000Hz and will cover 100% of the DCI P3 color gamut.

Furthermore, the manufacturer has verified that the phone does, in fact, incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. According to the brand, the device has achieved an astonishing benchmark score of 1,676,933 points on AnTuTu. Regarding the battery, it has been officially confirmed to possess a capacity of 5100mAh and supports fast charging of up to 80W. Further details are likely to be confirmed as we move closer to the July 20 launch date, so stay tuned.
