Back in January, Samsung unveiled the ViewFinity S9 monitor at CES. Now, seven months later, the brand is finally ready to bring this monitor to market shelves.

The Samsung ViewFinity S9 monitor is set to have a global release on June 26, 2023, but launch dates may differ depending on the region. In the United States, it will be available from August onward, sold on Samsung.com and at select retailers for USD $1,599.99.

Samsung’s ViewFinit S9 boasts a 27-inch display with a 5K resolution. This model is specifically designed for creative professionals like photographers and graphic designers. With its high 5,120 x 2,880 resolution and wide color gamut of 99 percent DCI P3, it delivers outstanding detail and precise color reproduction, achieving an average Delta E ≦21 color accuracy.

Additionally, the monitor features a built-in Color Calibration Engine, ensuring precise screen color and brightness. Users can further fine-tune settings such as white balance, Gamma, and RGB color balance through the Samsung Smart Calibration application on their smartphones, enhancing accuracy. The matte display minimizes distractions caused by reflections and glare, providing a comfortable working environment.
The ViewFinity S9 series is equipped with USB Type C and Thunderbolt 4 ports, allowing easy connection to cameras and other devices. This facilitates smooth file transfers and high-resolution video sharing between storage devices and PCs. The monitor also includes a 4K SlimFit camera that supports native video conferencing through apps like Google Meet, adding to its versatility.
