Earlier this month Dell launched the G2724D monitor in China as well as the global market with a 165Hz refresh rate. Now, the company has unveiled a better gaming monitor with a higher 280Hz refresh rate and a 0.5ms response rate. The Dell G2524H monitor has a 24.5-inch IPS LCD and carries support for HDR.  It also features a good-looking design with an ergonomic stand that adjusts for height. Let’s have a closer look at the specifications and pricing of the gaming monitor.

The Dell G2524H features a matte black and gray plastic chassis. The monitor gets a bezel-less screen and an ergonomic stand, which allows for height, tilt, and swivel adjustments. This display uses a 24.5-inch FAST IPS panel with display synchronization technology that supports both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. It offers 1080p resolution with a 240Hz native refresh rate. However, you can overclock it to 280Hz. With a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 and a maximum brightness of 400 nits, the Dell monitor offers 0.5ms response time, 99% sRGB color gamut, and 8-bit color depth.

Further, the connectivity options on the G2524H include two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 1.4 port. It is also very compact being 555.4mm in width and 200.3mm in depth. It weighs just 5.53kg. The monitor also adheres to the rigorous VESA DisplayHDR 400 standards.

Today was the China launch of this gaming monitor and it costs 1,599 yuan in the country. However, the Dell G2524H is also available for direct purchase in the global market with a price tag of $249.
