The Oppo A78 4G went official in Indonesia earlier this month. It is speculated that the device may go official before the end of this month in India. Before the expected launch, a leaker has tipped the price range of the device.

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the Oppo A78 4G will debut later this week in India. The device will be aimed at the offline market and will cost around Rs 18,000 to Rs 20,000. Here is a look at the specifications of the device.

The Oppo A78 is equipped with an AMOLED panel with corner punch-hole. It will offer Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It features an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system on the back.
The device runs on Android 13 OS, which is overlaid with ColorOS 13.1. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset.
The leak has not mentioned the RAM, storage capacity, or color variants of the Oppo A78 for the Indian market. In Indonesia, the device is available with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage. It comes in two shades: Black mist and Sea Green. The A78 has a thickness of 7.93mm and weighs 183 grams.
As far as other specs are concerned, the Oppo A78 offers up to 8 GB of virtual RAM, a microSD card slot, dual speakers, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and NFC. It offers the usual connectivity features, such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
