A recent report claimed that Poco is gearing up to launch its first-ever TWS earbuds for the Indian market. It revealed that the brand will announce Poco Pods by the end of this month. Today, the brand officially confirmed that the Poco Pods will be announced on July 29 in the country.

Poco India has officially announced that the Poco Pods will make their debut at 12 pm on July 29. As indicated in the poster above, the brand has also confirmed that the Poco Pods will be available at a special price of Rs 1,199 (~$15). A landing page for the product is now live on Flipkart, but at the time of writing this post, the page encountered an error and there is no information mentioned on it.
The Poco Pods feature a stylish dual-tone design, with the charging case in black and the inner portion in yellow. The earbuds themselves are black, while the eartip area is highlighted in yellow. The company has also confirmed that the Poco Pods will be equipped with 12mm extra bass drivers and will offer up to 30 hours of playback time. It will be available for purchase through Flipkart.
As per reports, the Poco Pods will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Buds 4 Active, which is priced at Rs 1,399 (~$17) in India.
The Redmi Buds 4 Active has 12mm audio drivers, a 34mAh battery in each earbud, and a 440mAh battery in the charging case. It is equipped with other features, such as fast charging, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB-C port, touch controls, and IPX4 water resistance.
