Samsung is confirmed to launch new televisions in India. The South Korean brand is set to announce the Crystal Vision 4K TV series in the country on August 4 at 12 noon local time. Ahead of the launch, the key features of the upcoming offerings have been revealed thanks to the Flipkart microsite (only mobile app). It also confirms that the televisions will be available for purchase on the e-commerce platforms. 

Samsung Crystal Vision 4K TVs to launch in India this week

The Samsung Crystal Vision 4K TV series will come in 43, 55, and 65-inch models. All three variants will feature built-in IoT sensors including a light sensor and a camera sensor. The former will adjust brightness depending on the viewing environment whereas the latter will issue alerts when intrusion is detected and also monitor the user’s home. The SmartThings integration will allow users to control all smart devices with the built-in hub. Additionally, the televisions will offer seamless accessibility to the user’s PC, laptop, and mobile wirelessly via DeX. 

As per the microsite, the Samsung Crystal Vision 4K TV series has slim bezels on all four sides. They will offer a 4K resolution and HDR10+ support. There is also PurColor technology for a realistic viewing experience and Contrast Enhancer to adjust the contrast. The televisions will be equipped with Crystal Processor 4K that will be capable of upscaling content up to 4K resolution. Lastly, the Samsung Crystal Vision 4K TVs will feature Motion Xcelerator for a smooth motion picture and ALLM mode for a smooth and blur-free gaming experience. 

Samsung is selling the pre-reserve pass for the Crystal Vision 4K televisions on Flipkart priced at Rs 500. Buyers who purchase the pass will be eligible for additional discounts of Rs 1,000, Rs 2,000, and Rs 3,000 on the 43, 55, and 65-inch variants. They will also get a Samsung webcam worth Rs 8,990 for free on the purchase of the television.
