Samsung just recently announced its latest generation of flagship foldable smartphones. But it seems like Apple and Google aren’t too far off from unveiling their own rivals that could steal the spotlight of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Samsung’s latest foldable phones may soon see new challengers from Apple & Google

According to a new report, sources from the supply chain have revealed that both Google and Apple are expanding their foldable portfolio with new flexible tablets. These devices might not be too far off and can possibly launch sometime as soon as 2024. The Cupertino based giant is apparently working on a foldable iPhone that will launch in the tablet market. This is also in line with one of our previous coverage, where we covered a tip from known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

On the other hand, Google is gearing up for a major launch as well. An upcoming Pixel Fold Tablet could be in the works and it is possibly a “key product for Google I/O 2024”. Unfortunately, the latest report doesn’t talk about any finer details of the upcoming foldable tablets. Although, it does add more weight to the existing rumors.

These foldable tablets will undoubtedly be flagship-grade devices and their launch will likely change the game in the tablet segment. The South Korean giant wouldn’t back down without a fight, with rumors also hinting at its own Galaxy Z Tab that will sport a tall foldable display. This is all the information we have at the moment, so stick around for more updates.
